The goal of Turning Pointe Christian Dance Studio is to instruct the students on dance technique as well as life values and modesty. Only modest costumes will be used in dance recitals and only appropriate music for class and performance. EVERYONE is welcome! Christian or not we just want to have a modest/value based dance studio.
Beth Aloisi is the owner of Turning Pointe and has been dancing since she was 10 years old in the Viroqua/La Crosse area. Beth attended and graduated from Viterbo University in Business Management and Dance. Beth has experience in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Show Choir, Musical Theater and Modern dance. Beth has teaching experience starting back to when she was taking classes in high school as a teaching assistant. Beth also was a dance teacher at the YMCA in La Crosse for a little under two years. Beth is a dancer and a mom to two beautiful girls!

Amanda also, volunteered as a dance teacher and cheer coach for the USA All-Star Productions for 2 years. She has performed at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, MN and loves to share her passion for dance with others, especially in the living room with her two daughters!
Pre-Ballet is a 30 minute class and meant for children between the ages of 3-4. Children must be potty trained.
Ballet/Tap is for students between the ages of 5-6. The class will be structured with 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tap.
Adult tap is for adult beginners who would like to learn the art of tap dancing. No recital performance is required but would be fun for those who want to participate in the dance recital.
Level I is for students between the ages of 7-9. The classes will be structured on more defined training of technique and will enhance students knowledge on dance terminology.
Level II is for students between the ages of 10-14. The classes will be more advanced and will bring the students knowledge of dance terminology and technique to the next level.
Level III is for students between the ages of 15-18. The classes will be advanced in dance terminology and technique as well as their ability to execute the moves taught.

Only ballet classes will be offered for the first trimester (besides adult tap and Ballet/Tap combo) we will add more types of dance as we gain more dancers.
Pre-Ballet - 4:30-5:00 PM

Turning Pointe Christian Dance is made up of Trimesters.
There is only one dance recital per calendar year. Middle of April 2020. Location to be determined. The only time you need to pay for the non-refundable $30 costume deposit is during the registration for January-April trimester. This deposit will go toward the costume cost. If the costume costs more than $30 the remaining balance will be added to your dancers account and emails will be sent out to notify.

Turning Pointe Christian Dance is centered on modesty in the dance class. Please ensure all dancers are dressed for dancing and dressed modestly. It will be at the discretion of the teacher as to whether the dancer needs to add a T-shirt or a layer onto what they wear to dance class.
Appropriate attire includes:
Leggings, high cut form fitting tank tops, leotards, shorts (any length so long as tights are worn with them), dance skirts with tights. No midriff tops.
Turning Pointe Christian Dance LLC is broken into Trimesters. September-December, January-April, May-August.
There will be a $55 registration fee for each family that is registered. $25 of this is a processing fee and $30 will go toward the last month of the trimesters tuition.
Monthly payment options are available. Direct deposit or credit is the only form of payment for this choice. If you pay for the entire trimester before the start of classes, then you can use check and you will receive a 10% discount for paying up front.
If a dancer quits before the dance recital the $30 costume fee is not refundable. If a dancer quits before the trimester end and the entire class has been paid for ahead of time there will be no reimbursement. If the student quits before the trimester end and is paying monthly, they will be required to pay for the last month that the dancer was participating in dance classes.
There is a $30 non-refundable costume fee that is due before the first class. This fee is only due before the spring trimester begins. January-April trimester. The dance costumes could cost more than the $30 and there will be an email sent out with the updated total that is due after subtracting the $30 costume fee already paid.
There is a $30 fee for any NSF checks. There will be a $10 late fee for all payments that are received after the 5th of the month. If there are 2 consecutive late payments the student will not be permitted to dance in class. If there are more than 4 late/missing payments in the entire trimester the student will not be permitted to dance in classes until the payments are caught up and there is a $0 balance. All students MUST be paid up to a $0 balance in order to perform in the dance recital in the spring.
There is a 50% discount for students who take multiple classes. The first class is full price and each additional class will be 50% off. There is also a 10% discount for siblings taking classes.
Adults/College students will pay $45 for the first hour class and each additional class is $20. This does not apply to high school students.
For the spring trimester when there are rehearsals for the dance recital, a student cannot miss more than 4 classes. (This is on top of snow days/holidays) If a student misses more than 4 dance classes in the spring trimester they will not be permitted to dance in the recital. Please arrive on time for each dance class.
